clients, students at The Cass gain real world experience in both individual and collaborative projects,

on socially engaged Architecture, Art and Design applied to both local and global contexts, and many
projects focus on London. Our central London location also gives you easy access to the creative and
cultural hub which surrounds the Aldgate Campus. Our many specialist facilities include wood and metal
workshops, laboratories, TV and recording studios, editing suites, darkrooms and Metropolitan Works
our digital manufacturing centre. Many of our students have exhibited at major international exhibitions
and festivals and have won prestigious awards. |

CREATIVE REVIEW Launched in 1980, Creative Review inspires, informs and stimulates debate across the fields of advertising, design and visual culture worldwide. We aim to produce thought-provoking content covering graphic design, advertising, digital media, illustration, photography, typography and essentially, any other form of visual communication. Each year the Creative Review Photography Annual showcases the best in commercial photography, accepting entries from photographers and commissioners of photography from all over the world. In 2014 we introduced some important changes which places the emphasis of the awards firmly on celebrating the power of the image to communicate ideas and tell stories in all media. |

FIRST THURSDAYS On the first Thursday of every month the Whitechapel Gallery and over 150 east London galleries open their doors until 9pm. On First Thursdays there is always something free and exciting to see after hours.

HACKNEY COUNCIL Hackney Council develops and facilitates programmes of arts and cultural events across Hackney; we actively encourage local residents and schools to visit and to use local cultural services and to signpost artists, cultural groups and potential partners for collaborative projects. |

125 MAGAZINE 125 Magazine was created in 2003 by a collective of photographers and art directors to act as a showcase for new work and ideas by both established and emerging photographers around the world. By 2007 the team were printing 45,000 copies and are considered pioneers of the ‘bookazine’ revolution and introduced the print sales service making every image in the magazine available as affordable, limited edition art prints. Now in their second decade and still fiercely independent, founders Perry Curties & Rob Crane have redesigned the business to reflect the changing face of publishing by turning the magazine into a highly collectible annual book and exhibition produced with the same devotion to new ideas and nurturing talent. They are also about to launch a line of stand-alone photography monographs, and education program. |

THE OLD TRUMAN BREWERY
The Old Truman Brewery, East London's revolutionary arts and media quarter, is home to a hive of creative businesses as well as exclusively independent shops, galleries, markets, bars and restaurants. For fifteen years the Old Truman Brewery has been regenerating its ten acres of vacant and derelict buildings into spectacular office, retail, leisure and event spaces.
